I appreciate all of your posts, but I think this is my favorite of them all. Great stuff.
Thanks for the kind words, if you are into the post-This Heat works don't forget to check Flaming Tunes (with Gareth Williams), or if you are mainly interested in Charles Hayward material i can help with that too (will post some Massacre and Quiet Sun later)
Your guess is remarkably accurate. Yesterday, just the first 20 seconds of the GrooveShark sample convinced me I needed to hear all of Flaming Tunes cd. I haven't yet considered the recordings and personnel closely enough to sort exactly whose work (Gareth William or Charles Hayward) interests me most. I trust your judgement and welcome anything else you may be able to help me discover. It has become clear that I respond better to your 1980s post than 1990s post, which may put me in the minority of people who follow your blog. Still, I appreciate all of the music, most of which I never paid much attention to 'til now.
Thanks for this post and the whole blog wich is good good good. Just one question: why does the link doesn't work for me? It dowloads the whole file except for one Kb wich makes it impossible to unpack. Server problems maye?
