  1. The code I got from is "wtf" lol
Seriously, thank you for this one. The sample got me hooked.

  2. I absolutely love this forgotten band and was so excited to hear the stuff on this long out of print release. Unfortunately the Minus site it's posted to won't allow anyone to hear it. I waited 4 hours for it and then it quit before it finished. I really hate to complain but man, Minus just doesn't work. It's a shame with all the great releases you have.

    1. Thank you so much for letting me know. What do you suggest?. I was thinking in splitting the bigger files. I upload to minus because as far as i know, it doesn't delete the files after 30 or 60 days from the last download. Btw, as soon as i find a solution to this problem, i will reupload all those bigger files that you (and probably somebody else) can't download. If you are in a hurry, you can find me in soulseek, my nickname is "Nilo" (Im not always connected, so send me an e-mail and i'll let the client open)

    2. I got it! It took a long time, but I finally got it. This has been one of those CDs that I've wanted for years. I missed it when it came out and by the time I heard about it, it was out of print. Now, thanks to you I can finally hear it. Bringing Home The Ashes was one of my favourite records of the 80's. Well, as for what site to use, mediafire seems to be reliable and free, but it may have other problems I'm not aware of. In any event, I've really been enjoying your blog. That Eyeless In Gaza record was another one of those long-lost gems. Thanks again for the tunes. Looking forward to see what's next.

    3. Cool!, I'm really glad that you found what you were looking for. I thank you for the feedback and for letting me know when there's a problem related with the files I upload (i encourage everyone reading to leave any suggestion or request related to that). By the way, expect more Wild Swans and more Eyeless In Gaza

  3. Well, I guess someone got to enjoy it.

  4. First of all, this is an incredible blog. I've been thrilled to discover Camberwell Now and This Kind of Punishment, bands that I can't believe I overlooked. Lots of other great listening here as well.

On the filehost issue, about 50% of the time, Minus directs me to a page that says it is temporarily out of service. However, I've just tried again a few hours later. So far, I've been able to download everything I've wanted. The download speed is a little slow, but I really can't complain, especially since I don't have any alternative suggestions.

  5. I want to thank everyone for the feedback, it's great to know that someone is following this blog updates. Also, I encourage everyone to send suggestions that would improve the blog quality (please keep in mind that even if i don't respond every comment that you guys leave, i can assure you that i read them all and as i said before i'm really thankfull for those responses).

About the Minus issue, the main problem that i was trying to solve is the long term storage, i don't want to be uploading once a month the same file. I've been researching a bit and found that 4shared don't delete files passed certain amount of'll be uploading there all the new files, and if i have some time, i'll be replacing the old minus links with 4shared ones.

Once again, thanks for sharing opinions on this.

    i miss megaupload, lol

  6. By the way, stay tuned because i have more this kind of punishment albums. Also, if you guys like this heat, i'm planning to upload the 2006 boxset with some lossless bootlegs that i found.

  7. wow This Heat boxset would be brilliant.
this kind of punishment are incredible... how about the Tall Dwarfs? Go New Zealand!

  8. could this be re-uploaded to mega, please? minus is a definite minus...

  9. Mega

    Part 1:

    Part 2:

  10. is there ant chance for re-uploading this somewhere like zippy share?

  11. I think they were the worst Liverpool Indie band on the scene at that time. His vocals were like chalk on a blackboard...they grated on you so much. Never did think much of them, but then I wasn't a big fan of the whole overrated Liverpool scene to begin with.
