The sample is very interesting! Such angular music! And yes, RIO...Discogs says it's Russian! You absolutely cannot trust Discogs on such things...Prog Archives says Belgian.
The band it's actually Belgian, what discogs lists is the release country, in this case Russian. By the way, as far as i know, this is the secodn aksak maboul album, but the release is a bootleg.
Thanks a lot for share this, I knew Aksak Maboul with the compilation Made to measure vol 1 and I relly liked it, now I'll hear complete album! Thanks again.
I first heard this band on the first volume of Made To Measure as well - then I just heard the Modern Lesson track on a recent Cherrystones compilation, so I was really excited to discover you had posted the entire album in glorious FLAC!
Many thanks - they certainly don't (or very rarely) make them like they used to do - it is as though all creativity and experimentalism has been sucked from current music by the weight of post-industrial capitalism and the most it can be is pale imitations of what has gone before in my opinion
Classic RIO music, very creative and spirited. Highly recommended. Thank you.
